Festival of Archaeology Eastwood house 2015
A great turn out for the weekend. The weather was kind. The children and the adults found the East wall of the house and also correlated the gradiometer findings with the dig!

New site starts to shape up
Excavations have started evaluating a farmers field. Geophysics have been surveying the fields with interesting results for future excavations.

A geophysical assseessment, a series of test pits and soil sample by coring are underway. Some slipware pottery from C18 has been discovered.

Shibden Hall, Halifax visit

Boar Flat update
The tent came in use today to allow us to evaluate features. Driving snow showers appeared during the day. Possible post hole discovered.
