The evaluation of the site of Highfield house started on the 20th and completed on the 21st July. Children turned up in droves to try and find the house and were rewarded with many pottery and bottle finds. The star find dated before the house was built comes form the tine of the neolithic found by Amy a TAS member. This dates approximately from 3000BC. The piece may have been in the collection at Highfield house and accidentally lost!
